With the help of Ozzy Owl and Olaf we kicked off the event handing out trail cards at the Hillsborough Exchange and The Hillsborough Tap which took explorers through different venues across the High Street searching for letters to complete their trail card to be entered into our draw where our lucky winners won some amazing prizes including a signed pendant from Sheffield Wednesday football club, two seats in the SWFC charity hospitality box, Air Pods, Gift Vouchers & Toy Hampers.

Across the bustling High Street we were visited by special guests; Spiderman, Barbie, Bluey, Ghost Spider, Olaf and Christmas Belle who joined us in the festivities and had lots of selfies with families and friends as they made their way through the event.  

​

There was plenty on offer for everyone with offers across local stores, crafting events, free face painting, delicious food and beverages plus a range of stalls offering handmade and unique gifts created by local artists and crafters at The Hillsborough Arena Christmas market.

Of course, no Christmas event would be complete without a visit to Santa and his elves who made a special appearance to meet the guests and take note of their Christmas wishes and check off his naughty or nice list. 

And the fun didn’t stop there!

Families and friends were able to enjoy our full-sized snow globe, get active on the obstacle course and take a whirl on the Helter Skelter slide hosted at the Hillsborough Arena before heading to the Christmas tree light switch on which took pride of place within Hillsborough Park, bringing the magic of Christmas to the community.
